The relaxed elegance of the driver loafer is interpreted in a sustainable key. Cut from soft calf leather, the upper is double-dyed and treated with natural oils in antique barrels for a magnificent texture, and the leather is made giving a second life to manufacturing scraps resulting from a production process with reduced carbon emissions. The lining is made from cotton produced without agricultural and processing chemicals. The steel Gancini buckle is made from raw ungalvanised steel, produced through a zero waste production technique and polished using a process that recovers and recycles wastewater, while the custom patterned sole is made with bio-based TPU content. The upper is stitched by hand as part of an artisanal process known as “Tubular”, an exclusive method used only by experts to ensure a supple and light finish, and the sewing thread is made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. Made in Italy.
