A veteran of the retail industry, Gary began his career with Nordstrom at the age of 18. Although new to Charleston, Gary has always been drawn to the style of the South and M. Dumas and Sons in particular.
The heritage of M Dumas and Sons and what it means to the local community and overall style of the South, drives Gary and his team to constantly be searching for whats new and next!
When not in the store, Gary can often be found spending time with his family on their boat, riding his motorcycle, or training for races. (He's run over 100. No big deal)

David Dumas
Co-Owner
Born into this industry, David Dumas grew up folding clothes for his grandfather, Mendel Dumas. Mendel, along with David's parents, Claire and Joe Dumas, provided him a great foundation in the world of retail.
After graduating from American University, David studied retail as an assistant buyer at Lord and Taylor and worked in apparel manufacturing.
Since coming back to Charleston in his mid 20's, David eats, sleeps, and breathes M. Dumas & Sons, as the third generation owner.
Lachlan Medley
Store Manager, Buyer
With over 10 years in the industry on both the wholesale and retail sides of the business, Lachlan joined to M. Dumas & Sons team and has helped us curate a top notch selection of brands and styles from around the world.
When he is not in the store, you can usually find him dining with friends at all of the hotspots in Charleston!

Taylor Eubanks

Our Jack of all Trades, Taylor joins the M. Dumas & Sons team with more than 10 years experience in the business across virtually all of its roles.
Beginning in fashion styling and product design, Taylor has moved on to add experience in management, wholesale, buying, sales, marketing and event coordination.
From vintage militaria to modern suiting, Taylor has a passion for everything clothing!

After working as the Master Tailor for Neiman Marcus in New Jersey for 17 years, Harri joined to M. Dumas & Sons team in 2023.
His experience working with luxury goods and notable clients made him the perfect fit to lead our tailoring department as we continue to grow and expand.
Liz Johnson

Born and raised in Charleston, Liz joined the M. Dumas & Sons team bring 40+ years of sewing experience with her.
After learning to sew in High School, Liz turned this passion into her profession and is excited to work with some of the best clothing brands in the world!

DuBose Fort
E-Commerce and Digital Operations Manager
DuBose has been with M. Dumas & Sons since graduation from Clemson University in 2022.
She was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant and enjoys sharing her love of Charleston with store visitors from all over the world.
Her favorite time of the year is the Spring when it's warm enough to go to the beach but it's not humid yet.

Nick joined the team in 2017 with a background in inventory management coming from the highest grossing web fulfillment program with Zummiez.
