The textile is meticulously handwoven using a tradition Guatemala backstrap loom. This is then fastened onto premium vegetable tanned leather that is hand-tied using a fine leather lace around the border of the belt. All of our belts only wear better over time as the natural fit forms to all waist sizes for both men and women.
Behind the Name:
Huracan, known as the "Heart of Sky" is the Maya God of wind, storm and fire. He lived in the windy mists above flood waters and is one of the deities who participated in all three attempts at creating humanity.
